Taking Care, one of the UK’s largest digital monitoring services in the UK, has just won a bid, via Consortium Procurement’s Technology Enabled Care (TEC) framework, to become a Strategic Partner to Connected Living who are part of Aster Living. We will work collaboratively with Connected Living to reach a wider audience and provide 24/7 emergency response services to Connected Living and Aster Living customers.
Taking Care provides around the clock Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services to over 75,000 people throughout the UK. The business has a 35-year heritage of delivering TEC services. Taking Care’s drive for innovation is supported by a strong focus on the public/housing authority market and this three-year contract with Connected Living will see us closer to realising a five year strategy to more than double the number of housing association/local authority connections they support.
Steve Gates, Managing Director at Taking Care said:
“We’re excited about our partnership with Aster Living. This partnership is absolutely in line with our vision as an organisation and allows us to further demonstrate how, by working together, we can enable people to live independently for as long as possible.”
Connected Living and The Aster Group help people to live their lives independently by providing technology enable care and enhanced housing management services to over 20,000 older, vulnerable or disabled customers. Taking Care will become the strategic Technology Enabled Care and telehealth monitoring partner to Connected Living, with Connected Living transferring existing and future connections to them in coming weeks.
Kerry Appleton, Operations and Contract Lead at Aster Group said:
“We are delighted to be working with Taking Care, enabling us to continue to deliver quality services to our customers.”
