This strategic collaboration will enhance the well-being and safety of Bernicia residents and customers across the North East by providing them with an around the clock, state-of-the art, digitally resilient telecare monitoring service from Taking Care.
Bernicia Group is a Housing Association based in the North East who have been providing quality homes and services for over 50 years and have earned a reputation as one of the country’s leading social housing providers.
Taking Care will provide 24/7 Technology Enabled Care monitoring services for 2,284 residents located in Bernicia’s Living Locations, as well as for 530 dispersed alarms for private customers.
The key features of the service include:
- Emergency Response Monitoring: residents will have access to Taking Care’s UK-based, digitally-resilient 24/7 Emergency Resolution Centre – ensuring that help is available at any time, day, or night.
- Personalised Monitoring Service: Taking Care’s Emergency Resolution Team are highly trained and selected for their calm and empathetic nature and respond to each call with the unique needs and preferences of the caller clearly in mind.
- Peace of mind for residents and their families: The partnership brings an added layer of security, peace of mind and reassurance, for both Bernicia’s residents and customers and their families, that expert and reliable help is at hand whenever they need it.
