About me
Georgina is the founder of Purpl and has been living with multiple sclerosis since 2003. She has first-hand experience of how expensive it can be to live as a disabled person, from assisted technologies to mobility aids, the costs quickly add up. Also, her body's intolerance to cold weather results in higher heating bills, further increasing her monthly costs. Recognising a gap in the market Georgina created Purpl - the UK’s first discount programme for the disabled community giving financial support for disabled people in the UK.
Purpl are the first disability discount program in the UK and aim to reduce the financial burden on disabled individuals by offering exclusive discounts on everyday products and services and aims to empower individuals to save money, alleviating some of the worries that come from the cost of living and extra costs of being disabled.
