Our wellbeing call service is a free and valuable addition to our 24-hour emergency resolution.†
If the alarm is being used in a way that seems different to normal, we’ll notice. Our team will give you or a family contact a quick call to check everything is okay.
It’s simple, reassuring, and included in your subscription at no extra cost. So even if you can’t be there all the time, you’ll know someone’s still looking out.

How does the service work?
We automatically monitor alarm call patterns and if we identify a potential concern, we will make a wellbeing call to the alarm user's registered contacts. If we cannot speak with their contacts, we will call the alarm user to check they are OK.
Changes in alarm call patterns may include the frequency, timing and nature of the calls.
This helps you proactively manage health and independence by making you aware of potential issues earlier.

The wellbeing calls also give us an opportunity to speak with our customers or their contacts to ensure we’re providing the best possible service.
If there has been a change to the personal alarm user’s health or other relevant details, we will update our records during the wellbeing call so we have up-to-date information in the event of an emergency.

Is the wellbeing call service included with all Taking Care personal alarms?
This is a free and supplementary addition for new personal alarm service customers after 1st August 2024, excluding Personal Alarm Watch and Taking Care Sense products.
