Price rise FAQs - your questions answered
What is the exact amount or percentage of the price increase?
The percentage increase for your payment varies for each of our customers, however, we can assure you that you will never pay more than a new customer.
How much will my total cost be after the increase?
Your invoice total will depend on which service and product you have taken out with us.
Why is the price increasing?
To continue enabling us to provide you with an exceptional, life-saving 24/7 service, we need to raise the price of our monitoring costs.
When exactly will the price increase take effect?
The date the price rise will take effect will vary for each of our customers. However, we will give you 3 months notice of your price rise. This notice will be either via letter or invoice.
Does this apply to my next invoice or the one after April 2025?
The price rise will come into effect from April 2025. This means that any payments after this date will be at the new price.
Can I get a discount or special rate to avoid the price increase?
It is important to us that we treat all of our customers fairly, so there are no special rates.
Will my current agreement or subscription terms be affected?
There are no other changes to your service with us.
Can I terminate my contract if I don’t agree with the new prices?
Yes, you can cancel your service at any time if you would like to - we do ask for 30 days’ notice to cancel. However, please speak to one of our Customer Services Advisors first, before making the decision to cancel.
Will I get a confirmation of the rise before the price changes?
Yes, you will. If you pay by Direct Debit, we will send you a letter advising of the price increase. If you pay us on receipt of an invoice, the price increase will be detailed on your invoice.
Will my billing cycle change due to this price increase?
The only change will be the amount you pay us each month. There will be no changes to when or how you pay us.
When was the last price increase?
Our last price rise was in April 2024.
How often do prices typically increase?
We typically have a price rise once a year but we would always give you 3 months notice of any future price increases. Your price may of course change if you opt for a different product/service with us.
If the price rise was in April why am I only just receiving a letter about it now?
We are obligated to provide you with three months notice of any changes in price. Due to your billing cycle, this may mean that the change did not impact you in April, but later in the year when your next payment was due and after the prices had increased.
