Professional Installation Service FAQs
Can you set up or install my order for me?
Our personal alarms are easy to set up and we provide clear instructions with your order. Some customers prefer us to set up and test the equipment for them and an installation option is available when you order the in-home Classic Personal Alarm online or by phone.
We’ll call you to arrange a time and date for the installation. We'll send a Telecare Consultant to set up your equipment, test the service and show you how it works. We offer morning and afternoon appointments, Monday to Friday. Installation is normally within 21 days of ordering.
If you order a key safe, please have a spare key ready to store in it.
Unfortunately, an installation service cannot be provided to customers in Scotland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Scilly Islands or the Channel Islands.
Can you fit my key safe for me?
Yes. If you order a key safe with your in-home Classic Personal Alarm, add the installation service to your order and we will set up both for you. Please have a spare key ready to store in your key safe.
How much does installation cost?
The service costs an additional £99 (£118.80 including VAT).
Can I order installation after I have received my alarm or key safe?
If you have any problems setting up your equipment, our Customer Services Team will be happy to guide you through the process. You can call our Customer Service Team on 0800 085 7371.

What does the installation service include?
A Telecare Consultant will visit your home to set up your personal alarm, and any other items you ordered such as a key safe or sensors. They will test the equipment, register it with our Emergency Resolution Team and show you how it works.
How long does the installation take?
It depends on what you have ordered but typically a personal alarm can be set up, tested and demonstrated in 1 – 2 hours.
Is the installation service available throughout the UK?
Our installation service is available for addresses in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an installation service to customers in Scotland, Isle of Man or the Isles of Scilly.
