• 30-day money back guarantee requires initial set-up fee to be paid upfront and if you cancel within the first 30 days this set-up fee will be fully refunded when you return your alarm equipment.

• Free next working day delivery available in England and Wales for orders received before 1pm, Monday – Friday, excluding Dementia Locate. For other areas, 48 hour delivery available.
• Free lifetime warranty and repair included with rental equipment for in home alarms only.
  

• The fall alarm sensor uses an algorithm to recognise the difference between ‘hard’ falls and other movements. Like many similar devices on the market, it cannot guarantee to detect all falls because it is dependent on where it is worn and the amount of shock or impact from the fall. If you fall and can press the emergency button then you should do so.
• Fall detection in the Taking Care Anywhere and Taking Care GO works with the location-aware GO alarm in pendant mode only. If you have a pacemaker this option has to be turned off.

• The Taking Care Anywhere and GO location-aware pendants will work in the UK, excluding the Channel Islands, and where there is a 3G or 4G cellular network to communicate
• The Personal Alarm Watch and Dementia Tracker Watch will work in the UK where there is a 4G cellular network to communicate
• All GPS devices subject to atmospheric conditions, radio interference, buildings, or other forms of interference that can block the GO’s connection to GPS satellites.
  

• The Personal Alarm Watch and Dementia Tracker heart rate monitor is not medically certified and for guidance only.

• The free wellbeing call service, also referred to as ActiveAlert, looks for alarm call patterns to trigger a wellbeing call. It is a free and supplementary addition for new personal alarm service customers after 1st August 2024, excluding Personal Alarm Watch and Dementia Tracker Watch.
• We do not guarantee that ActiveAlert will detect patterns accurately, or at all. It does not detect health conditions and is not a replacement for care or professional medical advice.
• Existing customers who subscribed before 1st August 2024 can opt-in to ActiveAlert by emailing activealertoptin@taking.care or calling 0800 085 7371 with their customer number.
• We reserve the right to change, amend or remove any part of this service at any time and without notice.
  

• By participating in the promotion, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
• A £20 credit will be issued to the existing customer making the referral once the new customer's 30-day cooling off period has passed.
• The new customer who registers for the Taking Care service will receive a £20 discount on their personal alarm set-up.
• No cash alternative will be offered and this promotion shall not be used in conjunction with any other offers or price tariffs.
• Existing or previous customers of Taking Care are not eligible to be referred and will not receive a £20 refund if they cancel their agreement and re-apply to become a customer.
• Taking Care staff do not qualify for this promotion.
• Taking Care reserves the right to cancel any refund should it discover or reasonably suspect that the terms of the offer are being abused and/or you were ineligible to participate.

About these Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to our use of any words, pictures, images, data, information or any other ‘user-generated content’ (“Content”) that you send to us via email, web form or upload, post or share using third-party websites or platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and Twitter (the “Third Party Platforms”) and which we use on our website, in other marketing channels or in any Taking Care owned social media platforms (“Taking Care Media”). These terms and conditions do not apply to you if you receive a free alarm as the relative of a
Taking Care member of staff. For further information please also read our

Our Use of the Content

From time to time, we, along with our authorised service providers, select Content in Third Party Platforms that we would like to use in Taking Care Media.

The Content selected and used by us will be in accordance with these terms and conditions.

In order to be a selected participating contributor, you must be aged 16 years or over and have access to a valid and genuine email address or Third Party Platform account.

It is not necessary to purchase anything from Taking Care in order to contribute Content to Taking Care Media.

By sending in your Photos, Stories and Content, you are consenting to our use of your Photos, Stories and Content, you:

1. confirm that the Content is your original creation and not copied from third parties;
2. acknowledge that your Content may appear on the Taking Care Media; and
3. grant Taking Care and its affiliates a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual right and licence without compensation to use your Content as set out in these terms and conditions;
4. confirm that you have all the rights necessary to allow us to use your Content;
5. confirm that the creation and use of your Content in any Taking Care Media complies with all applicable laws and regulations;
6. warrant that your Content does not infringe or otherwise violate the copyright, trademark, trade, privacy or other intellectual property or other rights of any third party and that your Content is free from viruses and other malware; and
7. waive any moral rights you may have in your Content, such as any right you may have to be named as the author of the Content or to protect the integrity of your Content.

You give us your permission for us to redesign, archive, reproduce, disseminate, display, publicly perform and/or replay and make publicly accessible, as well as to cut and edit, adapt and modify your Content
or any part of it.

If your Content is corrupted, inappropriate, illegible or otherwise not in accordance with these terms and conditions then we will not accept your Content.

You accept that we may choose not to use your Content or to remove your Content from any Taking Care Media at any time. You agree that you will not receive any payment or other remuneration if we use your
Content in any Taking Care Media.

If you remove any of the Content you released to us from the Third Party Platform it was originally posted on, then it will be removed from the Taking Care Media only where your and our Third Party Platforms are linked, subject to reasonable delays for technical reasons. If your Content is used by us on Third Party Platforms which are not linked and as a result your Content is not automatically removed from the Taking Care Media, and you would no longer like your Content to be posted on the relevant Taking Care Media, then please contact Our Customer Service Contact Centre to notify us of your request. Once notified, we will remove your Content within a reasonable timeframe.

To the extent it is permitted by law to do so, we accept no liability for any damage, injury or loss suffered due to our use of your Content.

We will only use personal information supplied by you for the purposes of posting your Content, unless you provide your consent for us to use your personal information for any other agreed purpose. 

These terms are governed by English law and any disputes in relation to them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
