How to login and use the app

Personal Alarm Watch and Dementia Tracker customers have access to a Friends and Family app to help manage their devices and stay connected.

To sign into the app, you will need to create an account using the link in the app registration email that you will receive. 

Login

• Username: This will be your email address
• Password: This would be the generated password

Tip: click the eye icon in the password field to show what you have typed.

Main screen

Making calls to the watch

• By selecting the phone icon, you can make a call directly to the watch from the app
• Calls are international and may be chargeable at international rates, depending on your mobile provider

Sending messages to the watch

• By selecting the message icon, you can send a message directly to the watch.
• Messages sent through the app will appear on the watch with a notification.
  

Note: Calls and messages sent directly to the watch will use the device’s battery. These functions are not designed for constant communication, but rather for occasional use.

Status

You can view:

• Alerts and warnings
• Notification
• Device status, including the battery charge and last time of contact
   

Position

This displays the most recent location recorded for the watch, based on the last time it was connected.

• To request an updated location, select the refresh arrows to initiate a new location search
• The date and time will be shown to indicate when the location was recorded. To switch to a satellite view, press the satellite view icon  

 

Vitals

This section shows the step count and heart monitor.

 

Settings

You can access the setting by click the gear icon.

 

Contact and alerting chain

This section shows the contacts linked to the watch.
 
Note: For the Dementia Tracker, this will identify who will be contacted if the user leaves their designated safe zones.

 

My profile

Edit and save your own personal details.Note: if you are a contact for a Dementia Tracker user, it’s important to make sure your contact details are always keep up to date.

 

Notifications

This section allows you to choose your alert preferences.

Note: We recommend Dementia Tracker customers ensure all alert functions are switched on to ensure you receive notifications if the user leaves their designated safe zone.

 

Change password

This section will allow you to generate a new password.
