The Hartlepool Technology for Care team was delighted to attend the recent Hartlepool Volunteers Graduation and Awards Event, a celebration of the achievements, progress and dedication of volunteers, interns and participants from across the community.
The event brought together volunteers, mentors, supporters and partner organisations to recognise the people who are making a real difference in Hartlepool. It was an inspiring occasion filled with well-deserved recognition, community spirit and a shared commitment to supporting others.
Supporting independence and strengthening communities
Delivered by Taking Care in partnership with Hartlepool Borough Council, Hartlepool Technology for Care helps local residents live independently, safely and confidently in their own homes through technology-enabled-care services.
Working closely with residents, families and community organisations across the borough the team plays an important role in supporting wellbeing, reducing social isolation and helping people remain connected to the communities that matter most to them.
As a team committed to supporting local people every day, it was especially rewarding to see colleagues recognised for their outstanding contributions to the community.
Recognising outstanding contributions
