We've been using Taking Care now for probably four years to take care of my 93-year-old mother. I cannot fault them for the friendliness and effectiveness of their Customer Service.

Even if we have to ring the helpline or they ring us for a alarm they're always so incredibly patient thoughtful and genuinely caring which at the time is so great to hear when one feels a little anxious or stressed about one's mother.

I can only highly recommend them.

Ordering the pendant for my mother was easy and delivery was very quick. It’s given the family peace of mind if Mum has a fall.

* 1 month free every year, applies to new personal alarm customers only when you pay annually by Direct Debit and order online or by phone. Any refund will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. All offers subject to change and may be withdrawn at any time. 30-day money back guarantee requires initial set-up fee to be paid upfront and if you cancel within the first 30 days this set-up fee will be fully refunded when you return your alarm equipment. Free next working day delivery available in England and Wales for orders received before 1pm, Monday – Friday, excluding Dementia Locate. For other areas, 48 hour delivery available. Free lifetime warranty and repair included with rental equipment for in home alarms only.
** The Taking Care Anywhere, Taking Care GO, Personal Alarm Watch and Dementia Tracker Watch GPS devices will work anywhere in the UK where there is a 4G (Personal Alarm Watch, Dementia Tracker) or 3G/4G (Taking Care Anywhere, Taking Care GO) cellular network to communicate, subject to atmospheric conditions, radio interference, buildings, or other forms of interference that can block the pendant's connection to GPS satellites. A GPS satellite network must be available for the GPS pendant to determine its location.
^ The fall alarm sensor uses an algorithm to recognise the difference between ‘hard’ falls and other movements. Like many similar devices on the market, it cannot guarantee to detect all falls because it is dependent on where it is worn and the amount of shock or impact from the fall. If you fall and can press the emergency button then you should do so. Fall detection in the Taking Care Anywhere works with the location-aware GO alarm in pendant mode only. If you have a pacemaker this option has to be turned off.
^^ The free wellbeing call service, also referred to as ActiveAlert, looks for alarm call patterns to trigger a wellbeing call. It is a free and supplementary addition for new personal alarm service customers after 1st August 2024, excluding Personal Alarm Watch. We do not guarantee that ActiveAlert will detect patterns accurately, or at all. It does not detect health conditions and is not a replacement for care or professional medical advice. Existing customers who subscribed before 1st August 2024 can opt-in to ActiveAlert by emailing activealertoptin@taking.care or calling 0800 085 7371 with their customer number. We reserve the right to change, amend or remove any part of this service at any time and without notice.
