Best personal alarms specialist award

Here at Taking Care our customers are our number one priority. We strive to make our customers feel valued and safe in the knowledge that we are here for them when needed.

We are delighted to have our efforts to provide a ‘best in class’ service recognised by GHP (Global Health & Pharma) and to have been voted the ‘Best Elderly Personal Alarm Specialist’ in this year’s Social Care Awards.

The Social Care Awards exist to recognise and reward the companies that go the extra mile in helping and protecting their customers.

It’s genuinely humbling to be recognised as the highest quality provider of these services in the UK

Steve Gates, Managing Director of Taking Care

Why this award is so important

Technology enabled care, such as personal alarms, are crucial to millions of vulnerable and older adults across the world as it allows people to live and maintain a quality and fulfilling lifestyle. As the majority of people that use devices such as personal alarms will be older adults or those classed as vulnerable, it is important to know that the businesses they are relying on deliver outstanding services to their customers.

Steve Gates, Managing Director at Taking Care said:

We are genuinely delighted to receive this recognition. Our teams are involved in providing potentially life-saving support for our customers on a day-to-day basis and therefore it’s genuinely humbling to be recognised as the highest quality provider of these services in the UK.

This award comes after what has been a particularly challenging year, especially for vulnerable and older adults. Taking Care’s 24/7 Emergency Response has remained unaffected throughout the pandemic, ensuring their customers have a much-needed lifeline at a time when they need it most.

Best personal alarm specialist certificate

It goes without saying that this is a fantastic achievement for Taking Care and is a true reflection of all of their hard work and driven determination paying off.

Jessie Wilson, Awards Executive at GHP New

Whilst COVID-19 is not the only illness that puts older people and others at risk every day, it has truly shown the importance of technology enabled care in ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of older and vulnerable adults, now and in the future. In response to these insights, Taking Care has been working hard to meet customers' needs and deliver the best available solutions.

Jessie Wilson, Awards Executive at GHP News said:

This year has been one of the toughest 12-months that the Social Care industry has had to face. As the COVID-19 pandemic gripped the world, it is the front-line Health and Social Care Workers who have valiantly guided our communities safely through this pandemic by offering care and support where others could not.”
